Spiderspeaker for The Mahrym Project

I got the opportunity to illustrate this piece for the world building project Mahrym, by Maira Galabard.

Speakers have the ability to communicate with any form of life, including beasts, plants, minerals and various elements. However, no two Speakers will be able to inherit the same mahrym, meaning that there will be as many variants to Spiderspeech (for example) as spider variants there are.
